How I Boosted My Website’s Pageviews With Social Media

This month, I saw a major increase in my website’s pageviews—here’s how I did it!

A common KPI I always consider when exploring my analytics data is the number of pageviews on my site. As time goes on, I’ll start measuring that information year-over-year (YoY), but for now, since my website is new, I typically measure this data from month to month.

For this post, I’ll use my website as an example and take a look at the increase in traffic this month compared to last month, based on a particular social media tactic I’ve used to engage online users and bring more awareness to my website.

Not only has this tactic helped with my analytics, but it has also boosted my SEO efforts, making it easier than ever for my website to be found in search listings.

As you can see below, there’s been a tremendous increase in pageviews to my website. This growth can be attributed to getting my brand’s information above the fold on social media, where it’s the first thing a user sees when visiting my social media page.

I made sure this information stood out to anyone visiting my social media channel. The goal was to pique the interest of my audience and get them curious about my brand. By engaging with my network, I connected with people seeking information on topics like ‘web designer near me’ or ‘SEO help nearby,’ putting my expertise right in front of those who could benefit from it.

After updating my information and giving it some time, the results began showing up in Google Analytics, and the outcomes were even better than I’d anticipated.
